Welcome, you have come to the right place to discover a growing collection of articles, news and topical information about our sport of recreational diving.
You will soon discover that we are not promoting 'our' dive centre; we are not telling you what courses we offer and how much we charge. Instead this site focuses on the sport itself and what goes on in and around it. We trust therefore that you will find much here that is of interest to you.
We are always appreciative when you take the time to contact us regarding any suggestions or ideas you may have. You will always receive a personal reply in recognition of that. Our aim is to provide a site with content that is of interest to as wider section of the diving community as possible and we sincerely trust you will find this to be the case.
So please feel free to we shall be pleased to hear from you.
We cover topics that are specifically of interest to the novice/new diver as well as areas that will mean more to those that have been diving for some time.
Look out for articles about popular dive locations, as well as features concerning particular dive niches such as wreck diving, cave diving etc.
Over in the first4diving blog we hope to establish 'mini' communities that focus on a particular facet of diving and in that regard we would welcome experienced divers to contribute their views on specific topics. That way everyone has the opportunity of learning something new from like minded individuals.
Do you like making things to enhance your diving? An umbilical dive light for example... you will find that on the blog too under current projects.
If you have any projects or ideas of your own then please put them forward for inclusion and discussion.
So, we hope you get a lot out of our site and invite you to make it even better by contributing to it. Sharing experiences and knowledge will make all of us better and safer divers whether you are just about to make a start or have been diving deep for many years.
Thanks for stopping by and please make the most of what is a growing collection of scuba diving material.
If you are particularly passionate about for example... wreck diving then how about heading up that particular category and making it you're own? You can do this by signing up as one of our resident 'wizards'. Head on over to the first4diving blog and read the wizards section for more information.
